GROUP REGISTRATIONS | GENERAL INFO

Group Registration applies to groups of at least 10 runners regardless the race in which each one of them wish to participate.

If you are interested in a group registration for at least 10 participants, please kindly send your request (number of requested entries / per road race) at This email address is being protected from spambots. All requests will be satisfied upon availability.

In order to submit a group registration, you will be asked to fill a specific excel file that will be sent to you after confirming your reservation request. All personal data required for each one of the group members (including personal contact details) should be stated and this is mandatory. After you have completed that, send the filled in excel file by email at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..

When submitting a group registration for the 2022 Athens Marathon event, respect and follow the guidelines provided by Organizing Committee. The Organizing Committee will only accept group registrations submitted through the above mentioned excel file. No other kind of submission or file is accepted.

You are strongly advised to thoroughly read the Participation Terms & Conditions of the event, that you consent to as submitting entry form. Also make sure that you have read the event's Cancellation Policy.

Group Registrations 1st Deadline (Early Bird): June 30th 2022
Please note, that groups who successfully complete their registration process until June 30th, will receive a personalized race bib (their name will be printed on the bib number) for each runner. Such a service is not available for those to register after that date.

Group Registrations Final Deadline (Last Call)*: August 30th 2022
  
*In case the participation limit for group registrations is met before June 30th, we will no longer accept new reservation requests.

REGISTRATION LEVELS

Τhe Advanced Registration Level includes:

• Bib Number with incorporated timing chip
• Technical Race T-shirt by Adidas
• Bag for clothing management
• Transportation of the runner to the Marathon Start Area (Marathonas) from the city centre of Athens (refers only to the Marathon Race)
• Services during the race (feed zones and medical assistance) and after the race (feed zone and medical services)
• Clothing management during the race
• Accident Insurance during the race by ERGO
• Finisher's Medal (received exclusively by finishers)
• Participation Certificate with finish time through the website of marathonphotos.live (available after the announcement of the Official Race Results and only if the runner is icluded in them)
• Live tracking via our Official "Athens Marathon & Half" App
• Free entrance at the Athens Olympic Museum
• 50% discount on "Hellenic Train" tickets

Τhe Full Registration Level includes all of the above plus:

• Backpack
• Public Transportation Card
• Free entrance at the Acropolis Museum
• Face towel
• 15% discount at the Athens Marathon e-shop

ATTENTION: Runners travelling to Greece from countries outside of the European Union can ONLY register in the Full Registration Level.

GROUP REGISTRATIONS | REGISTRATION FEE / PER RUNNER

In cases of group registrations, a 5€ discount is applied; kindly find below the respective final fees for group registrations:

GROUP REGISTRATIONS | SETTLEMENT OF REGISTRATION FEES

After you submit the official excel registration form you can settle your registration fees with one of the following methods:

1) By debit/credit card (in the payment link on the excel file)

2) By bank wire:

ATTENTION: In case of a bank wire, you need to make sure that your name of your team is mentioned on the transaction receipt. It is mandatory to sent a copy of the transaction receipt shortly afterwards to the Athens Marathon Office via email (Email: This email address is being protected from spambots. You need to proceed with its settlement of your registration fees within two (2) business days after submission, otherwise your entry will be cancelled with prior notice.

PLEASE NOTE: In cases of group registrations only one payment should be made for the total cost of your group fee. In case you wish to receive a receipt for your payment, our accounting department is able to issue one only in cases of bank transfers/wires (not in cases of payments by card).

GROUP REGISTRATIONS | CANCELLATION & CHANGES REQUESTS

Change requests to successfully submitted entries (name/personal information changes or road race change) will be satisfied until September 10th 2022. After this date, all change requests in registered runners (in personal info or road race) can only be satisfied with an additional fee of 5€ / per change. Moreover, any potential difference in the fee resulting from race change will have to be covered as well.

Cancellations are possible strictly up until September 10th 2022.  Make sure you have fully read and understood the event's Cancellation Policy.
