Sportsbox by GS Travel is joining the Athens Classic Marathon starting from this year's event. Sportsbox has just recently become the second Official Travel Agency of the Athens Classic Marathon in Greece. Over the last years, the Athens Classic Marathon has developped a network of more than 60 travel agencies around the world that yearly bring in Athens a large number of runners from all around the world and with which the Organizing Committee is cooperating on a steady basis. Furthermore, 15 of them have been nominated Official Travel Agencies of the Athens Classic Marathon in several countries, taking under consideration the promotion they offer to the event and the truly large number of Athens they bring in Athens each year.

 

The main goals of the cooperation between the Athens Classic Marathon and GS Travel are to further increase the number of runners from abroad that participate in the event through specific promotional initiatives taken by Sportsbox either during other major international Marathon Races or by offering accommodation packages that cover a range of various services, and to provide exclusive services to Greek runners that live outside Athens but would like to take part in this unique race.
